Functional Safety Engineer (FSE) – TÜV Rheinland

Introduction

This course is in line with increasing demand for engineers who involve in any of the functional safety life cycle phases for the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) to understand and capable in implementing the requirements of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards and related safety standards for the process industry.

NOTES:

The training fee is charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) inclusive of course materials, registration fees with TÜV FS Program, TÜV Rheinland certificate and Functional Safety Engineer ID number.

(Certificate will only be issued to participant who passed the examination)

Eligible Participants

Engineers from the instrument and control systems, process, electrical, safety and loss prevention and project management disciplines

Operation and maintenance technologists, who are involved in any of the functional safety life cycle phases for the Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), including hazard and technical risk assessment, specification, design implementation, installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance

Requirements

In accordance with TÜV Rheinland FS Engineer:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of functional safety

A university degree or equivalent engineer level responsibilities status as certified by the employer
